Frequently Asked Questions

Just what is a KNOCKERBALL®?
A KnockerBall® is a single chamber inflatable sphere with inner handles and adjustable shoulder straps. KnockerBall®s range from 1.0 Meters to 1.5 Meters and the proper size or fit is predicated on your height and strength. KnockerBall®s can be used singularly to perfect your rolls, flips, and wheels or can be used with two or more to enter a realm of rip roaring, knocking fun times. People who use KnockerBall®s are sometimes referred to as “Knocker Ballers” and they describe the sensation as almost defying gravity. This sport is so new and we are proud to be instrumental in introducing one of the coolest products to come along in a long time to the U.S.A. Till now, KnockerBall® or “bubble soccer” has been gaining traction in Europe, Australia, Japan, and elsewhere. Leagues are opening up all over the United States, so isn’t it time you “GET IN THE BALL” and see what you’ve been missing?
What is provided with a KnockerBall® rental event package?
We provide the full setup of the KnockerBall®s (delivery, inflation, and breakdown), as well as an Event Coordinator with every event package. We will also provide you with some options of “games” to play. We have soccer goals, soccer balls, and other equipment and activities available as package add-ons.
Do you provide permits for use at State or City and County Parks?
No, it is up to the individuals renting to obtain a permit from the Parks Department if they are needed.
How old do I have to be to use KnockerBall®s?
All participants under 18 must have adult supervision.

Minimum age is 5 years old. There isn’t exactly a max age limit. It is more of a height and strength limit, because it may be difficult to play “Knocker Soccer” and carry the ball on your shoulders (19-22 lbs. for the Medium; 25-28 lbs. for the Large). However, people of all ages can at least get inside the balls and just roll around.

What height do I need to be to use KnockerBall®s?
We carry 3 different sizes of KnockerBall®s – 1.0 M (Small), 1.2 M (Medium), and 1.5 M (Large). Size fit is based on height. We recommend the following general guidelines for proper fit: Small is for 5 years old to 4′ 0″ tall. Medium is for 4′ 0″ to 5′ 6″ tall. Large is for anyone over 5′ 6″ tall.

It is important that your KnockerBall® is adjusted to cover from above your head to just above your knees. This will ensure that you maintain proper protection for rougher play. Your Event Coordinator will adjust the shoulder straps accordingly so to obtain optimum bodily coverage. And Remember: NO jumping head to head or spearing.

How much do the KnockerBall®s weigh when inflated?
1.5m Large PVC – 28 lbs
1.2m Medium PVC – 22 lbs

1.5m Large TPU – 25 lbs
1.2m Medium TPU – 19 lbs
1.0m Small TPU – 10 lbs

But because of the backpack style strapping, the weight is evenly distributed and it’s easy and fun to use!

It's going to be really hot / really cold. Can we still play KnockerBall®?
We will not subject the KnockerBall®s, nor our participants, to extreme cold or hot weather.

Whether you are using a PVC or TPU unit, it is highly recommended to only use this product in temperatures ranging from 40 degrees to 85 degrees. Extreme cold may make the material brittle therefore rendering the KnockerBall®s unsafe to use. And who wants to be strapped inside a large plastic bubble when it’s ridiculously hot outside?!

A suitable indoor location (gym or linoleum flooring) should be arranged if weather conditions are outside of this temperature range.

Where can we play?
KnockerBall® can be enjoyed at multiple venues:
– Your personal property, given enough open grassy space free of major hills, rocks, trees, mud, etc.
– Public Parks – reservation prices vary based on city and park district
– Schools and Churches with the permission of the organization owning the property
– One of our indoor venue partners – contact us for more information
Participation Waivers
Be advised that participants will be required to sign a waiver or have a parent/guardian sign if under 18.
Can we get additional Time and/or Equipment?
You’ve already booked your party package and the big day is here; but you now have more people coming than you originally planned. Now you want to know if we can help accommodate?

Additional KnockerBall®s are available for $25 per hour on the day of the rental. Additional hours are available for half price.
